Why I built EasyFill
I'm Hanna Ondrasek, an undergraduate student.
The idea for EasyFill came from watching people close to me struggle with PDF-based applications. The forms tend to be dense and PDF editors are often slow and frequently crash. Watching someone navigate that process while already dealing with incredibly stressful situations made it clear that the barrier to access can sometimes be the difficulty of PDF editing.
I built EasyFill to fix that. The DDS and SNAP applications are completely free to use. The Universal PDF filler is a $1 one-time fee to cover AI costs. My goal is simple: no one should be denied access to services they qualify for because the application was overly difficult.
Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using EasyFill.
Important: EasyFill is an independent tool that generates completed PDFs of official government forms. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA), or any other government agency. Submitting a completed application through EasyFill does not guarantee eligibility or approval for any benefit program.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using EasyFill ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
EasyFill provides a guided, step-by-step interface for completing fillable PDF forms. The Service generates a completed PDF based on information you enter. The Massachusetts DDS Eligibility Application and SNAP Benefits Application are provided free of charge. The Universal PDF Filler requires a one-time payment of $1.00 per form to cover operating costs.
3. Not Legal or Benefits Advice
EasyFill is a form-filling tool only. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice, benefits counseling, or a guarantee of eligibility for any program. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. If you have questions about your eligibility or the application process, please contact the relevant government agency directly.
4. Your Data and Privacy
EasyFill takes your privacy seriously, particularly given the sensitive nature of the information involved in government benefit applications.
- No data storage: EasyFill does not store, log, or retain any personal information you enter into the forms, including names, Social Security Numbers, addresses, or financial information. All form data is processed in-memory and discarded immediately after your PDF is generated.
- PDF files: Your completed PDF is generated and sent directly to your browser. It is not stored on our servers.
- Payment data: Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. EasyFill never sees, stores, or has access to your credit card number or billing details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
- Uploaded PDFs: PDFs you upload to the Universal PDF Filler are temporarily processed in Lambda (AWS) to extract form fields and are not retained after processing.
5. Payments and Refunds
The Universal PDF Filler requires a one-time payment of $1.00. This fee covers the cost of AI-assisted form analysis. Because the service is delivered digitally and the AI analysis is performed immediately upon payment, all sales are final and non-refundable. If you experience a technical error that prevented your form from being generated after payment, please contact us at support@easyfill.org and we will make it right.
6. Accuracy of Information
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. EasyFill generates PDFs based entirely on your inputs. Submitting inaccurate or false information on a government benefits application may constitute fraud and could have serious legal consequences. EasyFill assumes no liability for errors or omissions in the information you enter.
7. No Session Saving
EasyFill does not currently support saving your progress. If you close your browser or navigate away before downloading your completed PDF, your entered information will be lost and cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have sufficient time to complete your form in a single session before beginning.
8. Limitation of Liability
EasyFill is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EasyFill and its creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: denial of benefits, errors in generated PDFs, data loss, or service interruptions.
5. Intellectual Property
Our Rights
All content, software, workflows, design, and functionality of the Service—including but not limited to:
- guided form logic
- interface design
- system architecture
- instructions and generated outputs
are owned by EasyFill and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- replicate or build a competing service based on our workflows
Your Content
You retain ownership of any documents you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and display your content solely to provide the Service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
